CW has a comprehensive and successful track record in urban development projects to the extent that we are involved in most of the major projects within Perth and, over the past few years, have achieved the highest market share of consulting engineering work for urban development projects in Western Australia.
We recognise the importance to our clients of project works being completed to a high quality, on time and within budget. We know how difficult it is to manage projects should this not be the case. Our quality, programme and cost control is achieved through an emphasis on tight in-house management, through the commitment of staff to provide the effort required to meet deadlines, and through the maintenance of very close scrutiny, by our Engineers, of contractor’s performance on construction works.
The highly competitive nature of the urban development industry and the need to react quickly to market fluctuations now requires a very different approach to our work. Projects rarely have sufficient time to follow a sequential programme of planning, survey, engineering, construction, etc and nearly all work is nowadays fast-tracked.
CW is structured to meet the particular demands of this approach through our experienced resources and management systems. We are continuously required to meet very tight programme deadlines and, at the same time, maintain work quality and cost control on all of our projects. This is particularly important on larger, more complex projects like Ellenbrook, Brighton Estate, Mandurah Ocean Marina and Subiaco Redevelopment, etc for which we have consistently met the demands to achieve early clearances, reduced costs and innovative design, etc.
